Now I am 66, born in Zimbabwe with good health and happy to be on this strange planet. Still fit and with an active brain. I have seen a fair bit in life. Lived and worked in 3 continents and and experienced 2 wars. My home is now in Australia but I cant really say I am Australian. My background is different and it gives me a different perspective on life. Most of all I have the feeling of considerable gratitude for the fortunate life I have had. Living in my adopted country I feel a bit out of place sometimes as my upbringing is different and I cant really share the perspective that many around me have.
Thoughts go through my head constantly about the future of the world and I wonder how much they are really worth. They seem wise and from a perspective that may be different to others that live around me.Will others think it is? I don't know but I feel like writing them down for my own sake as they buzz around my head.
So here is the start of my own personal blog. If you happen to find it and read this I hope you find something illuminating from it. Perhaps you will totally disagree but if manage to catch you attention I am happy.
